I experienced the worst, most disrespectful service that I have ever received at this place. I ordered for delivery and not only was I blamed for the problem which is not true, but they absolutely refused to rectify the situation. I do not respond and rate services on line very often. I try to be fair and impartial. However, my experience here was so ugly by a manager named Vicki and some other totally rude employee, I felt absolutely compelled to write a review. What a horrible experience!

A salesman for this outfit just illegally entered a building open only to senior citizens. The salesman proceeded to put flyers on all the doors in the apartment building -- all in violation of the law. If this happens again, I will pursue legal action.

One star because they deliver. That's the only plus side. It is not worth it though, there are a million other restaurants in Long Beach,When I called in my order to place an order, the girl sounded like she was 8. She could not comprehend a thing I was saying. After waiting 50 minutes (my place of work is not that far!), my food arrives to the office. I take a bite into what was supposed to be a Bacon/Avocado burger, and it's a chicken sandwich, with the meat still frozen. I was disgusted & angered, to say the very least. The other food was old and I didn't want to eat it.

OK so this time I wanted to try something new so I ordered in addition to my regular favorites I ordered the Spicy Garlic Shrimp and it was amazing. My dumb friend without trying it first "as always" just had to put some of the Sambal Oelek chili paste on his to finding out that it was spicy enough on it's own. Then as for their house special fried rice, they really could divide the beef strips into smaller pieces to deliver it more evenly as it is some of the most tender beef I have ever had. As for some of the other peoples comments, I would have to agree that this place could probably use a Gordon Ramsay makeover along with getting rid of City Cafe name, burger menu, the combo entree to go counter and delivery option as lets get real, for good for good Chinese food it needs to be fresh & the veggies should be crispy not going to happen with delivery food. Another problem and the reason why Taco Bell didn't work here is the the only entrance is from the side street which is not a good layout along with exit to the ally that is chained off and a waste of lot space with a drive-thru not in use.

Just placed an order and the absolute worse food I've ever had in the middle of eating my hot and sour soup and almost choked on what I thought was a bone nope a toothpick and that's when I lost it never eating here again. Food was mushy and noodles smelled like a sweaty arm pit wasn't about to touch that... Won't do any refunds even though I argued about the fact I had a toothpick in my food and who knows were that has been needless to say puking up my food wasn't the plan tonight. Never eat here unless you have a death wish.

Yuck! First of all it took over 2 hours for our food to be delivered! When I called after an hour of no delivery the person that answered the phone spoke very broken English and had no clue what I was saying. When someone else got on the phone the conversation wasn't much better. It was finally determined that I had ordered but somehow my order was "on the floor"...wtf. Conversation was almost surreal. they told me it would be 20 or 30 minutes....wrong! They called me back to say that my cc was expired. I confirmed the expiration being 2015 and the response I received was "but it only 2013, 2015 is expired...??? Also they charged me a $3 transportation charge in addition to a delivery charge!! We finally got our food and it was less than palatable....worst egg foo young EVER and I'm not sold there was even an egg present in that order! They were some unidentified patty maybe formed with some type of flour? Your guess is as good as mine! It was topped with some type of chunky stuff with mushy vegetables and no flavor whatsoever! Nope....never ever again! Lesson learned.

To preface I work for a Chinese company and I'm the only white guy. At least twice a week my boss orders in Chinese food. Of all the places that deliver, this is definitely our office's favorite. Portions are HUGE. We're talking 3 meals out of one dish. It's no gourmet Chinese, but as far as Chinese fast food delivery you can't do much better. Their orange shrimp and chicken curry are my personal faves. They offer burgers too but stick with the Chinese side of the menu.

It would be nice if all of your menu items had a description of what they were, what is in them and how they're prepared. It would also help for your employees to know what's in the menu items when I ask via phone call because there's nothing on your website.
